I’ve been on this trail many times. Mostly by bike. On foot with Sal is quite different.
We were walking on the The Loop in Tucson and found this bench. It was a custom tile bench dedicated to the memory of someone named Sidney Alan Haynes, an obvious parrothead. It was decorated with a margarita glass and a parrot.
Just the place for a dog and her guy to sit for a minute.
It was relaxing.
And brought a smile to Sal’s face.
it was one of those “enjoy the moment “ moments. Really. It brought art, kindness, quiet and grief altogether in one place. Peacefully.
