If I hadn’t seen it for myself, I would not have believed it. the Tucson Festival of Books at the University of Arizona Campus is huge–it takes over the mall for two days every April.
This year I was invited to this event by my author friend, Lisa Schnebly Hedinger. She and her co-author, Julie Morrison, were there to promote their book, Arizona FriendTrips. I found them on the mall in the publisher’s booth for autographs and later in their session. It was a fun presentation.
Many make this event an annual stop. Running for two days (Saturday and Sunday) the festival is a collection of tents and indoor sessions. Publishers, authors and others related to writing, publishing, books, art and literacy are included and contribute. It is a bibliophiles Mecca.
I only spent a small amount of time here, but will spend more time next year. As is said with a European trip, this was my first time.
Relentless
