After doing a bit of research, I found this collection of murals and public art in Downtown Phoenix. Arrayed along Roosevelt Street near its intersection with Central Avenue in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, this really is a motherlode of murals.
It is truly a walkable arts district.
Within less than 20 minutes and a little over a half-mile of walking, I found nearly a dozen murals. On the back of bars, surrounding utility stations, and, in the case of Teddy himself, affixed to the window glass of a skyscraper.
Subjects ranged from bicycles to animals to women to flowers. Colors are typically bright and a few border on being “aerosol” art.
Worth the time to visit and take in.
Relentless
