Another “leftover” thing. Each reminds me of a person or situation. Most brings me a smile and a happy thought.
Another story. Another connection.
Obscure I know. We all have those moments. And memories.
These are our dashboard companions. From the top and moving clockwise: Willie, came from a pet store on Orcas Island, a gift for Sal; Matilda, the trip mascot, found on the street of the same name; the “kindness” medal given to me by a gentleman at the Post Office; and the St Christopher’s Medal from Taffy.
Sal and I feel safer and cared for with these fellow passengers along for the ride.
